Getting soaking wet in the rain was absolutely worth it to capture the raw, intimate beauty of their outdoor wedding. The soft, diffused light combined with raindrops, ahhh so good.
The one day I forgot to bring a raincoat and a change of clothes turned out to be the wettest wedding I have captured in years. Despite the relentless downpour, the couple’s joy and the love shared among their guests were undeniable and created a unique atmosphere that made every soaked moment unforgettable. Navigating the soggy venue with my camera was a challenge, but it allowed me to capture authentic, raw emotions and candid moments that might have been missed on a clear day. That experience reminded me that weather can’t dampen the spirit of a wedding—it only adds a layer of character to the story being told through my lens.
Capturing Brittni & Kyle’s intimate elopement was such a privilege to witness and be a part of. They trusted me to scout out locations prior to the big day, and we captured an incredible variety of fall colors and scenery. I also loved all of the personal touches they included in both the day of schedule and details! My most favorite was that they included their cute dogs lol (: Despite the unexpected heat wave soaring into the high 80s, it was a beautiful unforgettable day.

Story time:
After pre-wedding photos and A+A’s first look, we headed early with time to spare to ZNP. While I was taking some candid photos of Alyssa and Austin walking towards the shuttle stop.. I noticed Alyssa wasn’t holding her bouquet. I didn’t want to put a damper on the day but I asked her if she by chance left her bouquet in the jeep or if someone else in the wedding party has all of the flowers. By the look on her face I knew before she said a word that the flowers were left back at the airbnb.
Earlier in the day Kylie and Capri offered to help me in anyway that I might need which was so insanely sweet and thoughtful. In that moment when Alyssa was heart broken about leaving the flowers.. I remembered their generous offer. I pulled out my phone and gave Kylie a call to see if they could by chance help get the flowers back to the visitor center so I could document a few with the bridesmaids and so Alyssa would have them for their couple portraits in Zion. She said they would be happy to head to their vrbo, grab the flowers, and bring them to us. They also offered to give us a ride to our hike since we were behind on time and completely saved the day. Forever so thankful for the sweetest clients turned forever friends
Next slide will be a little iPhone video teaser of the magic (including said bouquet in frame lol)

It works well for couples seeking a brief yet impactful set of images without the need for extended hours of coverage, making it perfect for intimate celebrations or elopements where simplicity and efficiency are priorities.

Are you finding yourself somewhere in the middle? Then a hybrid option might be the best fit for you! 6.5-8.5 hours is often the ideal choice for couples who want comprehensive documentation of their day without unnecessary extras. This timeframe typically allows coverage from the final moments of preparation through the ceremony and into the initial stages of the reception, or the moments right before the ceremony through the ceremony and until the grand sparkler send-off. It balances enough time to tell the most important moments of your day, whether that is earlier or or later into the evening while sticking closer to your photography budget.

Are you finding yourself somewhere in the middle, not quite sure if you want a shorter or longer coverage? Then a hybrid option might be the best fit for you! Typically ranging from 6.5 to 8.5 hours, this duration is often the ideal choice for couples who desire a thorough and comprehensive documentation of their special day without including a certain portion of the day. This timeframe usually allows for coverage starting from the final moments of preparation, continuing through the ceremony, and extending into the initial stages of the reception. Alternatively, it can cover the moments right before the ceremony, through the ceremony itself, and carry on until the grand sparkler send-off. It provides ample time to thoughtfully capture all the key moments of your special day, while also ensuring you remain comfortably within your photography budget.
All wedding clients get 40% off session prices from booking until their one-year anniversary. It's a great chance for engagement photos or post-wedding pictures if the weather isn’t good on your wedding day.
Are you unsure which option to choose? A hybrid package might work best! Booking 6.5 to 8.5 hours usually gives couples good coverage of their day without extra costs. This time can cover from the last moments of getting ready through the ceremony and early reception, or from just before the ceremony through to a sparkler exit. It captures the key moments of your day while staying within your photography budget.
